Breaking down borders through language

As an interpreter and translator, my vocation is to help people express their knowledge, thoughts, ideas and needs. Communicating with people who speak different languages opens up whole new worlds. I grew up bilingual so it stands to reason that building bridges between people and cultures has always been second nature to me. Ever since I was a young child, I have been passionate about helping people communicate and breaking down language barriers so making it my profession was simply the next logical step for me.

A reliable partner for your business

My clients’ satisfaction is my utmost priority. I am dedicated to supporting your business relations and contributing to your event becoming a resounding success for everyone involved. Whether it’s an international conference, a confidential meeting or a training session, I will take the time to offer you a prior consultation. And whether you’re organising an event in Germany or overseas, you can count on my reliable on-site support.

Professional experience and training

I’ve been working as a professional freelance interpreter and translator for international organisations, foundations and businesses in Germany and throughout Europe for over 15 years. I interpret at large international congresses, industry-specific conferences, presentations and highly confidential negotiation meetings.

After graduating from Saarland University with an interpreting degree in English and French with law in 2001, I became a certified interpreter and translator of English, French and Greek for Berlin courts and notaries.

During my studies, I gained my first professional experience, working for the Federal Ministry of Economics’ language department and, as part of a Robert-Schuman grant, for the IT, Language & Documentation Support Division (SILD) of the European Parliament. I also studied at Dublin City University and the Institut pour Interprètes et Traducteurs (ISTI) in Brussels.
